Your evening routine can be simple. The goal is to remove makeup and sunscreen, cleanse without stripping the skin, use targeted products only as your skin tolerates them, and finish with moisturiser.
Your four-step evening routine

STEP 01 · REMOVE
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water 500 ml
Remove makeup and sunscreen gently before cleansing. Use a soft cotton pad and avoid rubbing the skin.

STEP 02 · CLEANSE
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser 236 ml
A gentle cleanser for normal to dry skin. Massage onto damp skin and rinse with lukewarm water.

STEP 03 · TREAT
The INKEY List Starter Retinol Serum 30 ml
A beginner-friendly retinol option. Use in the evening only, start with 2–3 nights a week, and increase gradually as your skin tolerates it.

STEP 04 · HYDRATE
The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturizer 50 ml
Finish with a moisturiser to help keep skin hydrated and support the skin barrier. Use a comfortable layer and adjust to your skin’s needs.
How to use retinol thoughtfully
- Use retinol in the evening only and follow the product label.
- Start with 2–3 evenings per week, then increase gradually if your skin tolerates it.
- Apply moisturiser afterwards and use sunscreen every morning.
- Patch-test new products and avoid adding several new active ingredients at once.
Retinoids should generally be avoided during pregnancy or when trying to conceive; ask a healthcare professional if unsure. If irritation persists, pause use and seek professional advice.
Keep the routine comfortable
You do not need to use every product every night. Let your skin guide the pace, keep the routine consistent and choose products that leave your skin feeling comfortable.
